La Mimosa Collective
La Mimosa Collective is performing at NCMC November 7th. The mimosa flower is an international symbol of female empowerment. Expect performances of flute, cello, viola, violin, piano, and voice.
Autumn Musical Feast
Nestled in the hills of Amherst, the historic Red Barn offers breathtaking mountain views during this year’s Autumn Musical Feast. Supporters of the Northampton Community Music Center are invited to join us for a Balkan dinner and lively performance by Orkestar Banitsa.
NCMC Winter Concert
NCMC Annual Winter Concert is back! Featuring New Horizons Band of Western Mass, High Definition, and Ujima Singers. The concert will last about 90 minutes and is free admission.
Intro to the Alexander Technique
Open to professional musicians, as well as amateur musicians with at least two years' experience on their instrument. Attendees should bring their instrument with them to the workshop and wear comfortable movement attire.
Spooky Suzuki
A free, family-friendly concert by Suzuki violin, cello, and piano students of the Northampton Community Music Center, followed by a candy toss! Come in costume and have some fun 🎃🎶

Explore the world of musical instruments at your community music center:
Strings, percussion, piano, wind, and faculty who teach it all! Come meet NCMC's teaching faculty and find the right instrument for your child and/or you! This event is free and open to the public; no RSVP or musical experience required. Ages 4+
Maestro Melodies
This year NCMC honors cellist Anne Werry (25 years at NCMC) and choir director Evelyn Harris (20 years)! Join them in celebrating this awesome dedication to NCMC's mission to provide high-quality, equitable music education and performances to our community.
NCMC Open Rehearsals - New Horizons Band
Join the Pioneer Valley New Horizons Band, directed by the fantastic Nancy Janoson, and experience the camaraderie, fun, and spectacular music that this big band creates in rehearsals and performances across Western Mass! No experience required!
NCMC Open Rehearsals - Pride Chorus
Under Mara Levi's charismatic leadership, this choir has grown from a kiddie pool to a syphonic ocean of voices. There's truly a place for everyone in this empowering LGBTQIA+ group, whether you sing low, sing high, prefer the background, or want to raise the roof with a solo! The Pride Chorus promises to be a healing choral experience to look forward to week after week. No experience required.
Instrument Petting Zoo & Open House
This is a great opportunity for families to bring their children in to come see and hear different instruments that they might like to start studying, as well as an opportunity to meet and connect with NCMC teaching faculty!
Concert for Community
Join Northampton Community Music Center at The Pines Theater on Sunday August 25th to bid farewell to summer with a day of live music, food, family fun, and community! Gates open at 12pm.
Kids parade led by the Expandable Brass Band at 1pm.
Music all day until 7pm!
There will be food trucks, a kids zone with face painting and performances by Talking Hands Theater, a beer tent, and a full lineup of amazing music featuring:

This event is free and all ages. Look Park parking will cost $10 for non season ticket pass holders. Money will be raised for the Northampton Community Music Center through the generous sponsorship of local businesses.
