To keep Bloom Local operations running for our community, we charge an annual service fee for Partner Network membership on a sliding scale of $50 - $500 to allow for greater access to individuals and organizations at different stages of growth and/or with varying access to capital.

We ask partner applicants to evaluate where they are on the sliding scale using the helpful Green Bottle visual aid below.

Infographic titled 'The Green Bottle: Where You Fall on the Sliding Scale.' It shows three green bottles representing levels of financial privilege from least to most privileged. The left bottle indicates full financial privilege, meeting basic needs, owning or renting property, and having expendable income. The middle bottle represents some financial privilege, with access to healthcare, savings, expendable income, and the ability to buy or thrift items. The right bottle shows limited or no financial privilege, citing issues such as debt, housing instability, limited transportation, lack of savings, and inability to afford vacations or new items.

Annual Investment Guide:

  • Full Bottle: $500: I can afford to pay-it-forward

  • Half Bottle: $100 - $350: I regularly afford to pay for my basic needs

  • Nearly Empty Bottle: $50: I struggle to consistently pay for my basic needs

Testimonials

“Being a partner of Bloom Local has been nothing but a great experience as a small business owner. I've appreciated the networking events and the monthly calls that grant opportunity for social networking amongst other Bloom Local partners. I don't think I would have joined a business centered organization if it wasn't for Bloom Local.”

“I am a western Massachusetts-based business owner and being a Bloom Local partner is an integral part of my business's success. In the four years I have been connected to Bloom Local, I have made meaningful connections that have helped me develop my B2B and B2C strategies in a way that aligns with my values. I trust that the people who I connect with through Bloom Local will truly believe in the work I am undertaking and support it long-term.”

“We are so lucky to have Bloom Local amplifying contributions of LGBTQIA+ folks in the Pioneer Valley. I trust them to be my connection to values-aligned businesses in the community.”

“Bloom Local believes that all the wonderful people in the Valley doing all this wonderful work should be CONNECTED, talking to one another, collaborating and supporting one another-- and the Bloom team is making it happen! Tourists, Locals, and Newcomers alike, check out the Bloom Community Guide because this is where it’s at!”

“My Bloom Local partner experience began with a 1:1 meeting with Luc, during which I felt deeply heard and welcomed to the network. Since joining, I've connected with other creative, heart-centered queer and trans creatives and healers in Western MA, been inspired at Bloom-sponsored events, and felt a strong sense of community support. I greatly appreciate the way in which Luc and their team are constantly looking for innovative ways to raise up the network, while at the same time preserving its integrity and keeping it accessible for all.

Thank you, Luc and thank you, Bloom partners!”
