Looking to get some art supplies on the cheap? Or to rehome supplies you have around? And shop an amazing mix of BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA+ artists and makers at the same time? As part of a fundraiser series to open HYPHAE’s doors, join us at this multi-faceted event at Eastworks on Saturday, October 18 from 2P-5P.
Co-host 50 Arrow Gallery will house the art supply swap — sliding scale donation tickets, no one turned away from lack of funds. Register here.
How it works: Arrive with your supplies (illustration materials, textiles, paper, mixed media, and more!) in good condition and place them in the according section. Or just arrive with an empty bag to do some shopping! Then, shop in a manner reciprocal with what you brought or paid for your ticket! Repeat until the event ends. (If you get a ticket, you can also shop without bringing supplies.)
Across the Eastworks foyer, dream with us in the future HYPHAE space with a makers market. Browse 20+ vendors with a variety of high-quality, handmade wares across mediums of print, ceramics, textiles, jewelry, and more. Masks required per radical community care.
