A community grief support space and gathering for the trans community and loved ones.
We invite our community to gather for an evening of remembrance, connection, and collective care. Through an indoor and outdoor gathering space, we will create opportunities to move, reflect, connect, and be together in whatever ways feel right.
Grief lives in our minds, but it also settles into our shoulders, our breath, and our bones. Throughout the evening, we will make space to acknowledge what we carry, while also actively engaging with our nonhuman elemental kin: land, water, fire, and air. These elements will offer points of connection and reflection as we navigate loss, offer our intentions to those who have passed, and hold space for one another.
Through facilitated group ritual, community altar spaces, music, spoken word, and shared reflection, we will bring our hearts and minds together to honor those who have passed on. This is an invitation to remember, to feel, to be witnessed, and to find connection in the company of others. No experience is needed. Come as you are.
Co-facilitated by Adrian Seneca Bello and mr j Henriquez Almanzar. Campfire. All ages welcome!
