A pair of young lovers are caught and flee amidst their guardians' and rulers' rule. A group of artists are rehearsing a doomed play to be performed at the rulers' marriage.

And the woods where all intersect is overseen by ruling fairies Oberon and Titania, catching and confusing everyone amidst their dueling.
