Tending to the Hive

Today as the snow falls on Western Massachusetts, we’re looking ahead to the summer solstice, and dreaming of the sweetness of seasons to come with the help of Ang Roell of They Keep Bees - a LGBTQIA+-run bee business based in Great Falls, MA.

In this video, we accompany Ang on the farm as they tend to an 8 frame Comfort Hive, noticing indicators that the bees need room to grow, and the hive will benefit from expansion.
